Sometimes a leader has stepped into a new role and inherited a system that is not working. Sometimes a team is in transition, stretched thin or simply out of runway to solve the problem alone. And sometimes the challenge is building something from the ground up, with high expectations and very little margin for error.

What follows are a few of those stories. Each case study reflects a moment when an institution brought in expertise to help strengthen the strategy, build the operation or move important work forward. The circumstances were different, but the goal was the same: create a more thoughtful, effective enrollment experience and leave the institution stronger than it started.
